Welcome to Miss Abigail’s Miniatures!

Let us introduce ourselves. We are the Hannen family and love all things miniature and small. This even includes our pets as we have chihuahua's, miniature Shetland's and have even had a miniature cow. When our children were smaller, we built them a model railway but the buildings never looked realistic enough for me and so my imagination for more realistic buildings began. My husband and I have always loved period buildings, and you will see this in our buildings and designs. We are a Christmas crazy family and so the idea of the advent houses was born. We wanted more than just an advent calendar and so to make them also a functioning dolls house was important to us. Of course they shouldn’t be just for Christmas and so we will be launching other countdown calendars that aren’t Christmas related. 

You may have guessed by now we tend to do most things as a family and so the name of our company will be of no surprise to you. Our daughter is called Abigail, and although a grown woman now, as a child she was always referred to as Miss Abigail if she was in trouble and it seemed a good fit for our family business.
